WHO WE ARE
Together English Language Centre is an authorised ESL (English as a Second Language) Centre situated in Tseri, Cyprus running for 20 years. Central to our ethos is a genuine connection between teachers, students, and parents. Our vision is to motivate and inspire students through a carefully curated curriculum and teaching methodology, providing continuity, to take each student seamlessly from one level to the next.
Together English boasts a 99% pass rate, made possible by our team which has over three decades of collective teaching experience. We hold weekly teacher training as well as staff meetings in which we brainstorm ideas to continually improve our quality. We are dedicated and enthusiastic from the beginning to the end of the academic year.
Two members of our team are qualified oral examiners from the young learners up until IGCSE. Exam preparation is introduced almost from the beginning of the academic year so that students are well prepared and confident, giving them the best chance to succeed.
Together English Language Centre’s in-house and online business is managed by Mr Minas Zeniou who has studied BA in English at Plymouth University, and he is TEFL and DELTA qualified. He’s taught English in Spain, Hong Kong, UK and Cyprus. He’s worked as Academic Manager and Centre Director in summer Schools abroad and has designed courses for them too. He’s currently doing a course on Special Education Needs to be able to support children with learning differences in the conventional classroom.

Together English Language Centre Ltd is an Addvantage Member of the British Council – we have chosen to follow the Cambridge English exams syllabus and examinations since the beginning and are experienced in providing the best support and direction to our students. As Addvantage Members, we take every opportunity to attend webinars to keep us up to date with any changes.
Through an informal interview, presentation and level test, students are placed in the correct level – following that, we pave the way for the smoothest start with a hands-on and informative induction for both parents and students.
At Together English we place importance on the holistic development of the child; rich cultural input, highlighting values and cross-cultural content. The students are constantly encouraged to be active participants and learn through a social and dialogic process which is scaffolded by the teacher.
We believe in full engagement and monitoring by the teacher – followed up by a comment after each lesson via our platform. Other than our regular meetings throughout the academic year – we strongly believe in ongoing communication and that is why parents are notified immediately, if necessary.
Excellent exam results are achieved through advance organisation skills, forward planning, and practice. We send our students off to examinations with confidence and experience on account of the fact the syllabus has been fully covered and they have already met many milestones on the way.
Our books are carefully selected by our Academic Director who makes sure that students are continually being exposed to the four skills; reading, writing, listening, and speaking by means of informative and interesting texts which encourage critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
Together English Language Centre welcomes students of all ages and learning background – we take into consideration the type of learner each student is and cater to their needs. We also have courses for students with learning differences (not learning disabilities) and consult experts when we need guidance. And above all, we genuinely care!

COVID 19
Due to Covid-19, we quickly and successfully transitioned from the classroom to online lessons while undertaking digital training to maintain our high standards. With the help of the course books’ software and the addition of virtual whiteboards we were able to introduce remote lessons with student interaction virtually overnight. Listening exercises were carried out up to and including the IGCSE and IELTS level, as well as speaking tests, both of which had positive feedback. Students were also put into monitored breakout rooms on Zoom to work on their own or in groups. From the results of the end of year tests, we can proudly say that we covered the entire syllabus.
